Palo Alto Airport
Airport staff is dedicated to promoting aviation while working cooperatively with residents of Palo Alto and surrounding communities. The airport is a general aviation field, owned and operated by the City of Palo Alto. In addition to being the tenth busiest single runway airport in California, PAO is a reliever to three Bay Area airports. The airport has one paved runway 13/31, measuring 2,443 × 70 feet. The terminal building is available to transient pilots and visitors with Wi-Fi, seating, restrooms, and parking for vehicles adjacent to the terminal. Vehicle parking is free for the first 8 hours. Airport operations, facility, and field maintenance, and tie-down services are handled by airport staff located in the terminal building. Existing airport tenants can update their account information by completing the Account Update Form and e-mailing it to [email protected]. The Air Traffic Control Tower is operated by the Federal Aviation Administration.
