
Expansive, 19th-century botanical garden with palm & orchid collections displayed in greenhouses. The exhibition houses (Tropicarium, Palm House, Subantarctic House, exhibition galleries, and the Blossom and Butterfly House) will close one hour after the ticket office closes.
The fluttering season has begun, and until mid-April 2024, numerous butterflies will once again fly in the Blossom and Butterfly House. The Blossom and Butterfly House as well as the exhibition “Dusted Off – Of Blossoms and Their Visitors” are open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (last admission at 7:30 p.m.) and can be visited. Exiting the Palm Garden is possible through the turnstiles after the ticket office hours. The Palm Garden must be vacated by 11 p.m. at the latest. Exceptions, such as for events, are determined by the Palm Garden. Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Siesmayerstraße ticket office by leaving a deposit (e.g., ID card). Please note that dogs are not allowed entry into the Palm Garden. We appreciate your understanding. Exceptions are certified assistance and service dogs, which are identifiable by appropriate identification and a recognition vest. An ID card must be presented without request. The dogs must be leashed at all times.
