Palazzo Ducale di Urbino, Urbino PU, Italy

The palace, built by the Duke of Urbino Federico da Montefeltro , a man of arms and refined humanist, was built during the fifteenth century. The National Gallery of the Marche occupies all the rooms so far retrieved the Palazzo Ducale on the first and second floor, a total of 80 rooms. On display are paintings on wood and canvas, frescoes, sculptures in stone and terracotta, polychrome wooden sculptures and gold, inlaid woods, furniture, tapestries, drawings and engravings: all works situabili chronologically between the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries.
