Palais des Sultans Bamoun, Foumban, Cameroon
The Palace of Bamoun Sultans is a historic building in the town of Foumban , capital of the Nun . It is the seat of the Kingdom Bamoun , where resides the chief-superior of the peoples of the valley of the east bank of the Nun .
The Royal Palace of Foumban, where the king of Bamoun still resides today, was built in 1917 . The Palace Museum tells the story of the dynasty of kings Bamun 1394 to the present, with information about the most famous kings bamoun, Ibrahim Njoya , who died in 1933 , who created at the end of the XIX th century , a system writing called shü-mom writing .
