Palace Square, Stuttgart, Germany

A beautiful historic Square that is heart of the city with a central column flanked by historic buildings & gardens. The baroque garden with fountain, music pavilion and anniversary column is one of the city’s main squares. The 30-meter-high jubilee column of the year 1841, crowned by the goddess Concordia, weighing 100 pounds, is the center of the castle square.

The square, redesigned on the occasion of the Federal Garden Show in 1977, offers a view of beautifully symmetrical and generously arranged colorful floral arrangements. The view of the Baroque New Palace, the Late Classical-style Königsbau, the medieval old Chancellery and the Old Renaissance-style Castle round off this historical work of art.
