Orla Taumanan, Boa Vista, State of Roraima, Brazil

The Orla Taumanan was built on two platforms, one called Weikepá located at the bottom, with a structure facing the Pioneers Monument, and the Meiremê located at the top with a structure facing the Mother Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo.

The indigenous names are all of the Macuxi ethnic group , Taumanan means peace, Weikepa – sunrise and Meiremê – rainbow. A fair homage to this ethnic group present in the State of Roraima.

This riverside place is a marvelous spot to stay quietly watching the brown water of the rio branco to flow strongly.
