Opus at The Richardson
We at the Opus Restaurant pride ourselves in delivering high quality steak, our romantic atmosphere and our extensive wine list. However, now we have another claim to fame- our first-place barista team! Last month, several of our staff members decided to enter the national barista contest where they would compete against extremely experienced coffee makers in a chance to win a large cash prize. The team practiced after their restaurant shifts, creating gorgeous and complicated coffee drinks that everyone at Opus was lucky enough to try! The team then headed to the competition, feeling prepared after practicing on the best coffee grinder and the most expensive espresso machine out there (we do love our fancy equipment here!)
Classic French cuisine and modern Australian flavors are brought together at Opus Restaurant, championing the produce of Western Australia. Diners opt between a la carte plates or the degustation menu, in which dishes such as seared quail breast with tamarillos and spinach are served with French and Australian wines. The low-lit, white-table-clothed dining space lies within The Richardson Hotel & Spa.
