Onera beach is the most popular beach on Waiheke Island. The bay is an extremely popular for boating and the Greater Te Huruhi Boundary Walk passes along the beach and connects visitors to picnic sites close to the Newton Reserve, Hekerua Bay, Mantenga Point, and Blackpool Beach. Little Onera Beach, located at the south end, is perfect for families with small children.
