On Yer Bike Winery Tours is a fun and healthy way to see and enjoy the countryside that is the world-renowned Gimblett Gravels and Bridge Pa Triangle grape growing regions on the scenic Heretaunga Plains in Hawke’s Bay.
Up to seven wineries can be visited on a self-guided tour using the map provided. All offer the opportunity to taste the wines and have outside seating where a visitor can enjoy the superb settings before moving on. All the cycling is ‘off-road’ using the cycle trails that run parallel with the roads.
Arrive at our base at 2543 State Highway 50, Roys Hill, Hastings in the morning and we will get you set up with bikes, helmets, a map of the area and get you on your way. The distance from our base at Ash Ridge Wines, to the next winery is 10 to 15 minutes by bike. The wineries are well spaced from there on, for the perfect balance between exercise, scenery and wine tasting.
