Olympic Park, Beijing, China  

Beijing Olympic Park is located in the north end of the central axis of Beijing City, near to the edge of the North Fourth Ring Road. The central area of the Beijing Olympic Park was the main venues during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The total area of the park is 1135 hectares.

It is divided into three regions: the north end of the Olympic Park is the Olympic Forest Park, which amounts 680 hectares; the central zone, which is 291 hectares, is the main venues and supporting facilities construction area; southern end of the park, which is 114 hectares, have been built-stadium and reserved area. Moreover, the Chinese Garden is going to be included within the scope of the Olympic Park.

Olympic Park embodies three concepts, that is, science and technology, green, human of Beijing City. The park integrates office, business, hotel, culture, sports, meetings and dwelling into a new urban area. The region has a comprehensive energy infrastructure and convenient transportation network. The convenient transportation, concentrated population, good urban infrastructure, commercial, cultural and other service facilities make it a burgeoning area in Beijing.
