Oguta Lake, Oguta, Nigeria 

Oguta Lake, situated in Imo State Nigeria, is the biggest natural lake in the state. It is within the equatorial rainforest area of Niger Delta. The catchment area of Oguta Lake consists of a segment of River Niger flood plain in the southern area of Onitsha and the drainage of Njaba River. The lake is a beautiful body of water, which is about a mile and a half wide and 5 miles long from east to west. Oguta Lake has its major source as Njaba River, which is the major inflow to the late. The lake has three other tributaries tributaries namely Awbana, Orashi and Utu.
