The Forester’s Room, for instance, invites cozy gatherings in a small circle.
Even outdoors, our visitors have options. In our spacious beer garden in front of the house, one can relax under old chestnut trees or enjoy the lively atmosphere in the conservatory. For a quieter and more secluded experience, the lakeside terrace behind the fireplace room offers a beautiful view of the Jacobiweiher.

The Oberschweinstiege pampers its guests with high-quality country cuisine. Fresh, seasonal produce takes center stage with us. The menu changes accordingly with the seasons: Spring begins with Hessian asparagus, followed by the Green Sauce for Easter. Crisp salads, delicious berries, and of course, chanterelles dominate the selection in summer.
At the end of September, we kick off autumn with an Oktoberfest menu and the original Paulaner Festbier, before ushering in the cooler season with tasty game dishes. Mid-October marks the start of goose season, and at Christmas, we surprise with festive menus. The kale menu at the beginning of January is now also very popular here in Hesse and is gaining more and more followers.
