The Nordsøen Oceanarium has been around since 1984 and a lot has happened since then but the focus has always been on life in the North Sea. Today, the Nordsøen Oceanarium is one of the greatest attractions in Northern Jutland and offers fun and educational activities year-round.
At Nordsøen Oceanarium you can experience Northern Europe’s single largest aquarium tank. Embark on an amazing adventure beneath the ocean surface and explore more than 7.000 fish and other sea creatures divided in 75 aquariums. You are guaranteed an entire day’s worth of fun at the 10.000 square meter aquarium and the 5.000 square meter outdoor area.
The 4.5 million litre seawater aquarium tank, holding thousands of fish and sea creatures, is a unique experience in itself. Here, a diver jumps into the water and feeds the fish by hand, while a speaker guides you through the aquarium and its habitants.
