Heritage site from the early Industrial Revolution and home to Europe’s most powerful water wheel. The gardens, estate, mill, Apprentice House, mill owner’s house, restaurant, caf? and shops at Quarry Bank are open. Apprentice House tickets are limited, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. The mill is open by guided tour only on weekdays in the winter and free flow at weekends. Entry is free for National Trust members, but please bring your membership card with you. Non-members will need to pay on arrival. Parking is free for all visitors to Quarry Bank. We are open Wednesday to Sunday for the majority of the winter, with exceptions over Christmas.
