The National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco is a national public and cultural institution whose mission is to encourage reading and publishing at a large scale, to collect, to process, to preserve and to disseminate national documentary heritage and foreign documentary collections.
Designed by the architects Rachid Al Andaloussi and Abdelouahed Mountassir, the building is a combination of three cubic volumes overlapping each other and an impressive tower. This imposing set not only embodies the cultural development of the city of Rabat, it is also an essential component of its urban development.
