Museum-Reserve Dmitrov Kremlin, Dmitrov, Moscow Oblast, Russia
The Dmitrovsky Kremlin Museum-Reserve is a multifunctional dynamically developing center for the study and popularization of the history of the Dmitrovsky Krai with fruitful scientific, exhibition, cultural, educational and excursion activities. In 2018, the museum will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
Twelve buildings are located in the museum-reserve structure. Six objects of cultural heritage are on the Historical Square, the territory of Dmitrov Kremlin – a unique monument of archeology and architecture of federal significance.
To date, the museum’s fund is almost 40 thousand items of storage, among which there are significant and even unique works of oil painting, icon painting, graphics, porcelain, weapons, textiles, furniture, books and documents.
