Museum of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Le Mans, Pays de la Loire, France

Completely renovated in 2009, It re-opens and offers a new scenography which relies even further on the link between the legendary race and the local automotive heritage. It becomes “Le Musée des 24 Heures – Circuit de la Sarthe”.

In 2011, for its 50 years old, the museum invites the public to celebrate the event around lots of shows.

The exposed vehicles come from Sarthe’s departmental council’s collections, from “Centre culturel de la Sarthe”, from “l’Automobile Club de l’Ouest” as well as private owners who entrusted to the museum.
