Museum Bibikhonum, Qurƣonteppa, Tajikistan
A small but informative museum in the city is Museum Bibkhonum which would be like the regional museum with artifacts and exhibits showcasing ancient life in the area. Most is not in English but if you persevere with your languages you can get a good sense of what is there and what the story is telling you. Very inexpensive entry fee and the whole thing will probably only take an hour or so.
