Musée Soulages, Rodez, Midi-Pyrenees, France

The Soulages museum is home to Pierre and Colette Soulages’ donation to the Greater Rodez Urban Community in 2005, one of the most significant donated by an artist during his lifetime, with nearly 500 works and documents.
The works bear witness to the multitude of techniques and supports used by the artist: paper, canvas, glass, bronze or copper, the printed work (etchings, lithographs, serigraphs), the preparatory works for stained glass windows.

Conques, paintings on canvas and on paper (a unique set, including gouaches, inks and Walnut Brouies), documentation, books, photographs, films, correspondences …
To this donation, is added in 2012, the one consisting of 14 paintings on canvas, dated from 1946 to 1948, the 60s and a precious polyptique Outrenoir of 1986.
