Welcome to my sushi bar! My name is Tran Van Hai, and I take great pride in being the founder and owner of Mrhai since 2000 – one of Berlin’s most renowned sushi restaurants. Although I have not undergone formal training as a chef or sushi master, I have boldly and persistently immersed myself in the art of sushi preparation.
I have always been fascinated by Japanese culinary culture and the finesse inherent in every sushi roll. Thus, I embarked on creating my own sushi creations and continuously evolving my skills. Grateful for my experiences and journey, I diligently work towards making my sushi bar a success. I dedicate considerable time and effort to selecting the finest ingredients and constantly improving my skills to craft a unique and delightful experience for my guests.
With perseverance and dedication, I have expanded my sushi bar from a humble counter to three of Berlin’s most renowned restaurants – Mrhai Shabuki, Mrhai Life, and Mrhai Noon, each with distinct concepts. It is also important to me to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in my restaurants, ensuring that my guests feel at ease.
