Nevin Truesdale has been a prominent figure in British horseracing, served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Jockey Club, the largest commercial group in the sport. He joined The Jockey Club in 2013 as Group Finance Director and was appointed as CEO in 2021, stepping down at the end of 2024.

During his tenure, Truesdale led the organization through significant challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and evolving industry dynamics. Under his leadership, The Jockey Club navigated these complexities, maintaining its commitment to the sport and its stakeholders.

In June 2024, it was announced that Truesdale would step down as CEO at the end of the year.
