Mostik Cherez Reku Kamenka, Kamenka, Vladimirskaya oblast’, Russia
The bridge is located in the old part of the city and crosses the Kamenka river along the west-east axis. On it is Lenin Street, along the right bank along the river Mostova Street passes into the street named after Leo Tolstoy, along the left is Krestyanskaya street.
A monumental two-span structure. Stylistically meets the architecture of the late XIX century, in which the main features inherent in neoclassicism , combined with elements of the ” brick style “.
Both vaulted spans of the bridge have the shape of arched arches, resting on the shore foundations and a common central pylon for them. Abutments and pylon are facing a rustication of gray granite blocks with a rough cleaved surface. On the axis of the pylon between the vaults there is a semicircular in plan, like pylons, a scapula . Similar, but more narrow blades, flanked by the shore foundations. The planes of the coastal foundations between the shoulder blades are completed by arcuate belts that are supported by stepped consoles with narrow niches between them – a typical motif of the “brick style”
