Morro Dois Irmãos, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil
Morro Dois Irmãos is a rock formation in the neighborhood of Vidigal, in Rio de Janeiro . Its top of 533 meters of altitude above sea level is higher than the Sugar Loaf (395 m) but less than the Corcovado (704 m) This can be achieved by means of a trail of 1.5 km extension. Also in the park are one sculpture signed by Oscar Niemeyer and a memorial dedicated by Air France in tribute to victims of the AF-447 flight .
The hill attracts tourists who wish to follow the trail that leads to its top. From the top you can see the whole length of the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana, the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Gávea, the Redeemer Christ, the community of Rocinha and the São Conrado neighborhood. Access to the trail is close to Vidigal Field and Vila Olímpica Amphitheater, and the ride to the top lasts around 50 minutes.
