Morro do Moco, Angola
Morro do Moco is located in the south of Luimbale, in the province of Huambo and is 2,620 meters high.
It is an area where several rare animals can be found. Animals that can’t be seen anywhere else in the world, like the Francolim of Swierstra. This bird, along with dragonflies, insects and a considerable – but not yet studied – amount of amphibians and reptiles, make the region a living laboratory that must be preserved at all costs. The mountain is a challenge for rappel and canyoning.
Morro do Moco is the highest point in Angola and is a great option for those looking for different attractions for tourism.
