Monumento Natural das Falésias de Beberibe, Beberibe State of Ceara, Brazil
The Natural Monument of the Cliffs of Beberibe, an integral protection conservation unit, created through DECREE Nº 27.461, dated June 4, 2004 , covers an area of 31.29 hectares and is located in the municipality of Beberibe, 87 Km from Fortaleza. The main access to this conservation unit is, starting from Fortaleza, by the highway CE 040.
Its creation is justified in the face of the need for protection and conservation of the natural formations of the coast of Ceará, of notorious scenic value, represented by the cliffs and dunes, which are of great ecological importance and marked natural fragility, in addition to the need to organize the tourist activity On the site and the occupation of the soil in its limits and in its zone of damping.
