Monument of l’Indépendance, Bamako, Mali
Located at the entrance of the eponymous avenue in the river district, it is an original monument of Sudanese and Middle Eastern inspiration. Surmounted by a minaret, shelves aligned at its base bear the names of the actors of independence.
