Moeda Museum, Maputo, Mozambique
The Yellow House probably the oldest building in Maputo is the home to the National Museum of the Currency. Administered by the University Eduardo Mondlane, it was opened on 15 June 1981.
The National Currency Museum has a collection of material that tells the story of the country and of the Southern African Region, for several centuries. It brings together in its collection about 4300 coins, notes and medals.
