Mjelle Scenic Area, Bodø, Nordland, Norway
This amazing area is a must if you are visiting Bodø. The area is one of the most beautiful area close to Bodø!
Mjeldevika is very beautiful but the most scenic area is Auvika beach and Hovdsundet south west of Mjeldevika. It’s hard to believe that the photogenic Hovdsundet is north of the Artic Circle?
Mjelle is also the best place in Bodø to watch the Midnight sun!
You should plan the visit in the summer months, Jun – Aug. I prefer June or July, that is when the weather is usually the best there.
