The city of Palmas can be sighted from the Serra do Lajeado viewpoint, which also offers views of the Lajeado hydroelectric lake on the Tocantins River. Besides being a space for contemplation of the landscape, the Mirante is also frequented by paragliding practitioners, who enjoy the space and the advantageous conditions of time for the accomplishment of this sport practice. Viewpoint in Serra do Lajeado, 22 km from the Center of the city, and access is via dirt road or trail.
