Mirante do Morro da Lagoa da Conceição, Florianópolis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil

That the Lagoa da Conceição is one of Floripa’s postcards, even those who are not from the city easily perceive. But one of the best ways to enjoy it is from the top, from either of the two belvederes located on opposite sides.

At the top of Morro da Lagoa, also known as Morro das Sete Voltas (or Assopra), near the old disabled hotel, is Mirante Journalist Manoel de Menezes, from where it is possible to see almost the entire lagoon (South and North) The Avenida das Rendeiras, the wide expanse of dunes, Praia Mole, Xavier Island, Joaquina Beach, Campeche Beach and a tip of Campeche Island.

On the other side, on the top of Morro da Praia Mole, behind the Point of View bar, the viewpoint allows a view of the lagoon, the hills and the intense green of the surrounding Atlantic Forest, in a panorama of more than 180 ° going from Avenida das Rendeiras to the Coast of Lagoa and Morro do Macaco, in the Red River. Watching the sunset at these places is a must.

The two lookouts have souvenir shops, bars, restaurants and bathrooms available to tourists or even locals who never tire of admiring such beauty.
