Condemned by the Civil Defense, Mirante , in Porto Velho , has not yet been set for demolition. Part of the building began to collapse in 2012 and by 2013 the area was totally closed down by the agency.
According to the owner of the restaurant, Adriano Amaral, the process is being processed by the Municipal Secretariat of Special Projects (Semper), and the Municipality of Porto Velho will be responsible for the demolition costs.
“The structure is 100% compromised and there is no longer any condition of the building being renovated.
In order to know if we can rebuild something on the site, we must wait for the demolition that was left to the city, according to the Attorney General’s Office, “said Adriano Amaral, who estimates that his losses exceed R $ 1 million.
