Miniatürk, bringing together the rich architectural heritage that has remained everyday from the cultures of every civilization that ruled and traced in these lands until the Antiquity, Rome and Byzantium, Seljuks and Ottomans, Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kültür A.Ş. Was completed on May 2, 2003 and opened by President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In Miniatürk, thousands of historical artifacts out, awareness, according to the capacity to represent the period of Turkey and Istanbul selected 62 works of the Ottoman geography, 59 works from Anatolia, and 13 works of today’s 134 architectural works, including the geography of the Ottoman outside Turkey’s borders, 1/25 sized miniature models.
Miniatürk, Turkey and Turkish culture are not limited to, together with all the values that make Anatolia Anatolia, close to all the life experience of a carrying traces the geography of the Gold Horn. It stretches back 3000 years ago and brings together the traces left by the civilizations for which peace and tolerance and justice prevail.
