The MerkurBergbahn was opened on 16 August 1913 and is one of the longest and steepest cable cars in Germany, with slopes between 23% and 54%. Safe and comfortable, it will take you to the 668 meter high summit of the Baden-Baden mountain range, Merkur, which can not be reached by car until now. The two cars of the MerkurBergbahn each have 18 seats and 12 standing places and bring the passengers up and down in self-drive mode.
