The Central Holocaust Memorial

The monument to the murdered Jews of Europe in the center of Berlin is the central Holocaust memorial in Germany, a place of memory and remembrance of the up to six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. The monument, located between the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz, consists of the Stela field designed by Peter Eisenman and the underground information center. Admission is free.

The exhibition at the Information Centre documents the persecution and extermination of the European Jews and the historical sites of crimes. It is visited annually by almost half a million guests.
