Martini Rock, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates 

Martini Rock is a small lovely reef characterized by an abundance of rich orange soft coral and complemented by deep purple and bright yellow soft coral. When you dive around the rock, you’ll be amazed by how it resembles a martini glass on its side.

Martini Rock is made up of two pinnacles. The rock itself measures around 160m in length and its widest is 80m across. Visibility ranges between 5-15m. On a great day, you can experience up to 20 meters visibility.

This popular diving spot on the East Coast is teeming with underwater life. You’re bound to see interesting marine life such as cuttlefish, scorpionfish, puffer fish, nudibranchs, lionfish, burrfish, snappers, broomtail wrasse, and moray eels. You might also spot seahorses, shrimps, parrot fish, triggerfish, angelfish, barracuda, and turtles. Divers who have a passion for underwater photography will find these remarkable creatures as perfect subjects.
