Established in 1986, the Omani Aquarium and Marine Science and Fisheries Centre, isan aqua-cultural museum, situated between the Al Bustan Palace Hotel and the Capital Yacht near Sidab Muscat in Muscat.
In collaboration with Sultan Qaboos University, the museum strives to enhance the knowledge by studying of a extensive range of marine species; particularly emphazing on the ecosystem conservation and preservation of endangered species, for example: turtles.
Also ,the aquarium boasts of an extensive range of rich and exclusive marine life taken from Oman’sover 3,000 kilometres-long coastline.
