Mariho Aquarium
The Mariho Aquarium is located in Hiroshima Marina Hop , a large shopping mall that overlooks the Seto Inland Sea. The popular water mass aquarium is the first of its kind in the world, and displays a three-dimensional reconstruction of seas and rivers. You can enjoy the dynamism and cooling sensation of exploring the water. Note weekends are typically busy so try and visit during the week days.
Hiroshima Marina Hop also has attractions that you can enjoy all day long, such as the Marina Circus and event space. Among them, the Mariho Digital Art Road is one of the most popular night-time spots in Hiroshima. Here, you can enjoy the dazzling, 160-meter-long projection mapping that boasts of being the longest in Japan.
