
Manchester Piccadilly Train Station
A bustling transport hub for the North. A station full of life with popular restaurants, shops and food on the go, in the centre of one of Britain’s most exciting cities. Manchester Piccadilly is the principal railway station in Manchester, England. Opened as Store Street in 1842, it was renamed Manchester London Road in 1847 and became Manchester Piccadilly in 1960.
Station opening hours
- Until further notice, Manchester Piccadilly is closed from 0100 until 0315, subject to the arrival of the last train and the departure of the first train in the morning.
- The satellite lounge, which supports access to platforms 13/14, closes between 0100-0500 for maintenance and essential cleaning. These times are subject to change at short notice due to train movements. To access platforms 13/14 between these times, please use the lift facilities at the end platforms 8 and 10. When travelling from platforms 13/14, please use the lifts on the overbridge to access the main station.
