Manchester City Academy Stadium

The Manchester City Academy Stadium is a football stadium forming part of the Etihad Campus. Announced on 19 September 2011 as part of an 80-acre training facility to cater for around 400 youth players at a time, the campus was opened on 8 December 2014. The academy stadium has a capacity of 7000 and is the home of manchester city women and our eds and academy teams.

Facilities

The Academy stadium has accessible toilets, refreshment kiosks and merchandise stalls, at regular points around the stadium.

Wheelchair Users

There are 66 home bays available at the Academy Stadium for wheelchair users:

  • 8 pitch side bays across the North and South Stands
  • 48 pitch side bays across both the East and West Stands
  • 10 wheelchair bays located on the Upper Level of the East Stand.

There are four accessible entrances at the Academy Stadium. Not all entrances may be open for each matchday but both ambulant supporters and wheelchair users will be able to use any entrance that is open. For wheelchair users located on the upper level of the Academy Stadium, a steward will assist on the day and lift access is provided.

Ambulance Supporters

All ambulant supporters are able to enjoy the game in the Academy stadium with their personal assistant (subject to qualification and requirement), from any seat they choose.

If, for any reason, any ambulant supporter feels they have more specific seating requirements (a certain area, block or row) they should contact the Club’s Disability Access Team to discuss their requirements in more detail.
