Malika Surf Camp, Yoff plage, Dakar, Senegal
At Malika Surf Camp, you`ll find the right wave for your level at any moment of the day and of the year. All the surf spots are around the peninsula of Dakar and within 10 minutes, you can reach the South coast. Due to the geography, there’s always an onshore-wind on one of the two peninsula sides, which means it’s easy to predict the conditions and move to the best wave at the right moment.
Yoff is a beach break, with many left and right peaks. It’s a good beach to learn surfing, and it’s also a good quality wave for intermediate and advanced surfers, with a 200 meters line up and barrel waves
Close to Yoff, there are some reef and point spots, right and left. These spots, such as Ngor, Vivier, Club Med and Ouakam, require at least an intermediate level.
They offer surf guide for expert surfers and surf school from beginner to intermediate surfers. The camp is totally integarted in the local culture and support the young surfers of Yoff with surf equipments.
