Maketto

Erik Bruner-Yang’s multi-level, mixed-use space in the Atlas District hasn’t slowed down since opening on H Street NE a few years ago. A few dishes from the regular menu—including Maketto’s famous fried chicken—make it onto Sunday’s special Dim Sum brunch. There are sweet brunch-only options, however, like Chinese doughsticks or banana split French toast. You’ll want to keep the orders of Shanghai potsticker buns, shrimp crepe rolls, leek steamed bao, and vegetable gyoza coming. Afterwards, stay to shop, or lounge by the coffee bar.

Our 60 seat restaurant is our interpretation of Cambodian and Taiwanese cooking inspired by the people and flavors of those respective cultures. Our mission is to build a sense of community through quality, consistency, and accessibility. The doors are always open. Our home is your home. Please enjoy and thank you for spending your time with us.

Chef Erik.
