Built in the guise of a traditional Maritime fishing village setting, the Wharf Village consists of 5 different gift shops, each with its own theme and style of merchandise, a licensed family style restaurant, Beavertails Pastry shop, an ice cream parlour, and a fudge factory. There’s plenty of photo opportunities for everyone, from a life size plush moose to an antique tool archway and waterfowl pond.
Try your hand at tying some traditional fishing knots, discover the mystery of Magnetic Hill, or just relax with an ice cream cone and enjoy the antic of the ducks, geese, and lovely black swans. At Magnetic Hill, one of Canada’s best-known (though not best-loved) attractions, gravity appears to work in reverse. Start at the bottom of the hill in a car, and you’ll drift upward.Visit Canada.
