Lua Restaurant

Traditional dishes of Galician cuisine with an original touch in a refined restaurant with terrace.

Restaurant Lúa In Lúa we have sought inspiration in the traditional recipes of our mothers and grandmothers to evolve into our own, avant-garde cuisine. A new market cuisine that pampers the entire creative process, from the daily selection of the best ingredients to an exquisite staging.

Although there are numerous Galician restaurants in Madrid, it’s unusual to find one that is so different, with a highly personal and innovative approach that demonstrates its aspiration to be a 21C version of a traditional “casa de comidas”.

The cuisine prepared by Orense-born chef Manuel Domínguez, the son of pulpeiros (octopus cooks), is served in two dining rooms with a warm rustic feel and works of contemporary art, as well as on the attractive terrace.

The cuisine, available on the à la carte and a single tasting menu, showcases modern cooking with a strong Celtic influence, which maximises the use of seasonal ingredients that bring out the best of each other. There is a song that says that there is a Galician on the moon (lúa in Galician). Luckily for us, this particular moon is shining brightly in the Spanish capital!
