Love Statue, Omsk, Omsk Oblast, Russia
The Dating sculpture has been set up in front of the River Station in Omsk. It has been located near cruiser ticket booths. The Moscow sculptor Ilya Mishanin and his father Pavel Mishanin worked on the sculpture in Moscow for about half a year.
It depicts a girl and a young man taking tea at a little table. The sculpture figures are made of bronze, whereas the bench and the desktop are made of cast iron.
The sculpture was ordered by a businessman from Omsk who lives in Moscow now. He decided to set up the sculpture in memory of the day and place of the first date with his wife. The man chose to remain unknown.
