Sprawling woodland with walking trails, a sculpture walk and over 380 species of flowering plants. Lickey Hills Country Park is a country park in England. It is 10 miles south west of Birmingham and 24 miles north east of Worcester. The 524 acres park is situated just south of Rednal and close to Barnt Green. It is half a mile west of Cofton Hackett. It is one of the oldest parks managed by Birmingham City Council

About the park
Lickey Hills Country Park is one of Birmingham’s most varied and treasured parks. It covers 524 acres and is located just 10 miles south west of Birmingham. The park offers different things to different people – it’s a place for family days out, to spot wildlife, for sport, school trips, or maybe just for the views and a cup of tea. Lickey Hills has a complex and interesting geology which has created a variety of habitats. These include woodlands, heathland and grassland, which are home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. Lickey Hills has a Green Flag Award and is designated as a Country Park.

Visitor Centre and other facilities

The Park Rangers are based at the Lickey Hills Visitor Centre. Drop in to find information, maps, books, postcards and gifts.The café serves light snacks, and there is good indoor and outdoor seating. The café is run as a separate business and may close earlier than the centre at 3:30pm during quieter periods. Please note that the café and gift shop do not accept card payments but cash only. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are located at the Visitor Centre. The Centre is located at the end of Warren Lane off Rose Hill. It’s open daily from 10am until 5:50pm in the summer and 4:20pm in the winter.
