Li River Cruise End, Pingle, Guilin, Guangxi, China
As a major tourist attraction in Guilin, Li River is 437 kilometers long and the 83-km-long waterway from Guilin to Yangshuo is the masterpiece of Li River. It’s only about 40 miles in length, but a Li River cruise is one of the most important attractions of any trip in south China. A Li River tour shows a different aspect of China for you can only see miles of rice paddies and fields full of water buffalo and concrete is nowhere here.
To really appreciate the scenery, a cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is a must and your voyage of discovery can be gernerally divided into three sections: The first step is from downtown Guilin where you board the cruiser to Huangniu Xia. After you end your voyage, you can enjoy the natural wonder and local customs.
Upon reaching Huangniu Xia the cruise enters upon the second section. This is the key of Li River. You must be impressed by the wonderful mountains, clear water and the romantic legends.
