Les Halles de Narbonne, Narbonne, Languedoc-Roussillon, France

It was in 1871 that the idea of building halls was born in Narbonne. The ediles of then took almost 30 years to complete this project and finally write this beautiful page of history for the city of Narbonne. Originally motivated by essentially practical reasons, they probably did not measure how much the erection of this building would still beat the heart of our city and its inhabitants in the 21st century with such intensity.

A great story made of a multitude of tiny lived, invented, shared day after day, from generation to generation, by all those who have made halls an institution that Narbonnais proudly claim today.
