Get ready to explore the heart of Leeds United’s operations: their impressive Training Ground! This is where the magic happens, where players hone their skills, prepare for matches, and build the teamwork that defines the club. While it’s primarily a private facility for the club’s professional teams, its location in the picturesque Wetherby area provides a dedicated and state-of-the-art environment for training and development.
Leeds United’s training ground, Thorp Arch, was built in the early 1990s with the help of financial contributions from the club’s then-chairman, Leslie Silver. The site was initially a farm that Leeds United converted into a state-of-the-art facility that would rival any training ground in Europe. The development included the construction of six full-size pitches, an indoor pitch, medical and rehabilitation facilities and an academy site. Since its opening, Thorp Arch has been a vital component of the club’s infrastructure and a key factor in the development of young talent.
