Our Liverpool home is on Bold Street – a vibrant and bustling street, steeped in history and a hub for local creatives and independents. Formerly a tea room in the 1920s, a cinema in the late 20th Century and most recently Microzine clothes shop, our beautiful art deco building is spread over two spacious floors with lofty, high ceilings and many beautiful original features. We work closely with the local community to deliver a distinctive events programme throughout the year, with an acoustic stage downstairs and flexible event space upstairs, perfect as a live gig venue.
Leaf began as a small tea shop run by friends in a liverpool city centre gallery in 2007, with the goal of bringing quality loose-leaf tea to the city in an intimate and bohemian space. A tea house that’s equally beloved for its light lunches, coffee and friendly atmosphere, Leaf’s bar offering shouldn’t be overlooked. Our highlight? The selection of moreish smoked gins. The venue also hosts art exhibitions, vintage markets and live music – so you can enjoy more than just your drink when you head down to Bold Street.
