EDEN PARC is a peaceful place, overlooking the town center of Tournon with a magnificent panorama. From the top of its belvedere a generous view of the Rhone, the castle and the vineyards of TAIN L’HERMITAGE captivates you. Vestige of the Park of the former convent of Notre Dame, the place is a magical place. Small bridges, tower, pools, trees with various species, a haven of peace where you can stroll and rest in peace. Covering an area of one hectare, the park has kept its charm of yesteryear. Privileged place of nuns, it is surrounded by ancient walls, narrow paths and a stream that rises from the top of the mountain. Small bridges are still present, as well as vestiges of old houses.
Steps lead to the belvedere, traversed by the shaded areas of the trees that dominate the whole walker can imagine the soft and soothing atmosphere that this place could provide for meditation. PLACE OF BEAUTY LANDSCAPE This park dominates the city of Tournon, and offers an incomparable view on the Rhone river, natural separation with its twin city of Tain l’Hermitage. The vineyards of the Hermitage give a special cachet to the site by their espalier exposure along the opposite bank. The wild aspect of the park is domesticated by the search for a purity in the presentation of the various botanical families, that the time will come to develop.
